Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to accept the TLS connection to our Jabber server just yet... though I'll keep toying with it.

It also prompts for the network to use constantly, but that may be something that can be resolved with a setting.

Howdy

Just installed on my shiny new LG KF750, and it seems to work. I only made a quick test with two accounts I own, so I don't know about details yet, but at a first glance it works.

Running on nokia E51

I have it running on a nokia e51 with no issues. Just a few comments come to mind at this point:

It's really easy to accidentally close the client and not knock it into the background

No way to change the notification sound. Right now it sounds like a short fart

There is no notification on the phone that a message has been received unless I bring lampiro into the foreground. I suspect that doing anything further in this regard would require some s60 specific programming.

Thanks!

I have it installed and running on the Samsung Eternity, but I haven't yet gotten it to actually connect. I keep getting connection failed. I've got a jabber server of my own, and I've checked the log and I'm not seeing any indication that it is even trying to connect. I've tried to create a user on bluendo and jabber.org as well and I get the same error. I get the prompt from the phone to ask for permission to make the connection, but it doesn't appear to actually happen.

I'll do some sniffing on the firewall in front of the jabber server a little later on and see for sure if there are any connection attempts being made and update this post when I know.
